Routine operation of diesel engine fire pump

Alarm and detection

1. Diesel engine fire pump overspeed alarm shutdown: when the diesel engine fire pump speed exceeds 20% of the rated speed, the control system triggers the shutdown within 2 seconds, and the "overspeed shutdown" indicator light is on. Start signal is not received after overspeed shutdown. The switch can only be set to the full stop position once to reset the PLC before continuing to receive signals.

2. Alarm but not shutdown: the alarm occurs when the coolant level is too low, the coolant temperature is too high, and the lubricating oil pressure is too low. The corresponding indicator light is on, and the personnel on duty need to carry out maintenance without affecting the system operation. When a 220 VAC charger is used to charge the battery, it will detect whether the charger is working properly. If there is a fault, there will also be charger fault alarm, which will remain until PLC reset.

3. The data display control cabinet has the following data: battery voltage, battery charging current, rotating speed and cumulative operation time, oil pressure, coolant temperature.

4. Automatic charging: the control system adopts 24V DC power supply, which is provided by the battery. It adopts automatic or manual mode (PLC works normally). It automatically detects the battery voltage in standby mode every day. However, when the voltage is low to a certain value, the 220VAC charger will start charging. When the diesel engine is running, the generator will also charge the battery.

Diesel engine fire pump

1. Check before startup

(1) Check whether the maintenance of the system is completed, whether the work order is completed, and whether the site is clean and tidy without debris.

(2) Check that the diesel engine fire pump body is normal, the anchor bolts are not loose, the grounding wire is normal, the motor is well connected with the pump body, the inlet and outlet valves are open, the recirculation valve is closed, and the cooling water valve of the pump body is open.

(3) Check whether the pressure gauge and pressure controller of diesel engine fire pump are correct and put into normal operation.

(4) Check that the power supply of diesel engine fire pump is normal and the power indicator is on.

(5) The control power switch of each control panel is connected, the switch position is correct, the indicator light is correct, and there is no abnormal alarm.

2. Start stop operation

(1) The operation of electric pump is divided into "automatic", "stop" and "manual" by switch.

(2) When the switch is turned to the "automatic" position and there is no fire alarm signal, the panel power indicator and fire stop indicator are on, the equipment is in the ready state, and the frequency display shows the working pressure and frequency. When there is a remote fire alarm signal, the fire alarm indicator light is on and there is an alarm sound. The diesel engine fire pump starts automatically, and the waterproof pressure is set at 0.80mpa. Manual operation is required when stopping.

(3) When the diesel engine fire pump is running, if the pressure fails to meet the specified requirements or the electric pump fails, it will automatically cut off to the diesel pump. Maintain fire fighting pressure of 0.80mpa. It needs to be stopped manually.

(4) Press the "fire emergency start" button to operate the diesel engine fire pump with frequency conversion and constant pressure, and the fire alarm indicator light will be on and send out the alarm sound.

(5) The equipment shall be tested automatically at the specified time every month. The pump power frequency shall be operated once every 2 minutes, and the automatic detection indicator light shall be on.

(6) When switching to the "manual" position and pressing the "start" button, the electric pump operates at power frequency and needs to be stopped manually.

(7) When the switch is turned to the "stop" position, other functions can not work except the constant pressure and frequency operation of the electric pump according to the "fire emergency start". The frequency display shows both operating pressure and frequency as well as alarms. Keep the set waterproof pressure of the equipment.

Operation and maintenance of diesel engine fire pump system

1. Check whether the current, outlet pressure, bearing vibration, sound and temperature of all parts of diesel engine fire pump are normal.

2. Check that the diesel engine fire pump body is normal, the anchor bolts are not loose, the grounding wire is normal, the motor is well connected with the pump body, the inlet and outlet valves are open, the recirculation valve is closed, and the cooling water valve of the pump body is open.

3. Check whether the pressure gauge and pressure controller of diesel engine fire pump are correct and put into normal operation.

4. Check that the power supply of diesel engine fire pump is normal and the power indicator is on.

Fire pressure stabilizing pump

1. Check the fire pump before startup

(1) Check whether the maintenance of the system is completed, whether the work order is completed, and whether the site is clean and tidy without debris.

(2) Check whether the pump body is normal, whether the anchor bolt is loose, whether the ground wire is normal, whether the motor is well connected with the pump body, whether the inlet door is open, and whether the recovery door is closed.

(3) Check whether the pressure gauge and pressure controller of the fire pressure regulating pump are correct and normal.

(4) Check whether the power supply and control power supply of the fire jockey pump are normally powered on, and the power indicator light is on.

(5) The control power switch of each control panel is connected, the switch position is correct, the indicator light is correct, and there is no abnormal alarm.

3. Manual operation

(1) When switching to the "manual" position, start or stop pump a, press the corresponding button, pump a starts or stops, the corresponding indicator lights up, and indicates the ammeter.

(2) Pump B operates the same as pump a.

(3) The two pumps cannot operate at the same time, otherwise the air switch will trip.

4. Automatic operation

(1) Switch the switch to a main and B standby, and set pump a to operate and pump B to standby. Start and stop automatically according to the set pressure in the pipe network. If pump a fails, pump B will start automatically after 3 seconds.

(2) Change the relationship to B main pump for standby, and set B main pump for standby operation. The pipeline network is automatically stopped according to the pressure setting. If pump B fails, the pump will start automatically after 3 seconds.

(3) When the automatic operation cannot be carried out manually, only press "emergency stop: button to stop the pump". If the "emergency stop" button is reset, the pump will be put into operation automatically.

(4) When the pressure regulator pump is turned off to "stop all", it cannot be started.
