Safety operation process of diesel engine fire pump
一、 Inspection before starting the diesel engine fire pump
1. Check whether the coolant and fuel oil of diesel engine fire pump are normal.
2. Check whether the fasteners of diesel engine fire pump are firm.
3. Check whether the sealing of diesel engine fire pump is normal and whether it needs to be adjusted or replaced.
4. Check whether the lubricating grease of diesel engine fire pump is sufficient.
5. Check whether the grounding of diesel engine fire pump meets the requirements.
二、 Diesel engine fire pump starts normally
1. Press the "start" button, it can be started once under normal conditions. If the first start is not successful, it must wait until the starter armature is completely stationary before the next start.
2. If the diesel engine fire pump cannot be started several times, please check the starter, diesel engine, battery and wiring, and then start it after troubleshooting.
3. When the diesel engine fire pump is in normal operation, check the pressure of the pump in time. In case of failure, the maintenance personnel shall be informed to check in.

Press the parking lever until the flywheel stops or the instrument speed indicates zero.
四、 Maintenance of diesel engine fire pump unit
1. According to the requirements of the fire code, the diesel engine fire pump unit must be operated at least once every 15 days for at least 15 minutes to ensure that the diesel engine fire pump is in good condition at any time.
2. Regularly add lubricating oil to the gear surface and lubricate the bearing.
3. If the diesel engine fire pump is out of service for a long time, the water in the pump room shall be used up to prevent the low ambient temperature, such as frost crack of the pump body and other parts.
4. According to the maintenance regulations of diesel engine fire pump, the diesel engine shall be maintained in time, and the control devices such as cooling water volume, oil volume, battery voltage, oil pressure gauge, thermometer and tachometer shall be checked to be normal.
五、 Battery maintenance
1. Clean battery dirt. Use a wet cloth to wipe the dust, oil, white powder, etc. on the outside of the diesel generator bottle, the panel and the pile head (i.e. positive and negative poles), which are easy to cause leakage.
2. The long-term storage of the diesel engine fire pump battery must be charged before use to ensure the normal capacity of the diesel generator battery.
3. When the battery overheats during charging, please stop charging for a period of time.
4. When the battery is fully charged, stop charging immediately.
5. In order to avoid the start-up of the diesel generator battery at low temperature, the capacity of the diesel generator battery cannot output normally at low temperature, and long-term discharge may cause the failure (cracking or explosion) of the diesel generator battery.
6. It is forbidden to short circuit the two poles of the diesel engine pump battery.
